Baroque and classical composers such as Bach, Corelli and Vaughan Williams are included. Molly Mahoney will sing selections by Mozart and St-Saens as well as two American Christmas favorites.

Ms. Mahoney grew up in Chico before attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and now performs extensively in the Bay Area. For more information on Molly Mahoney, visit her website.

The concerts have become a tradition for North State Symphony audiences, who enjoy the opportunity to hear and see beautiful music in intimate surroundings. This year, the three performances begin with a Friday, December 18 concert in Red Bluff’s State Theatre, followed by a Saturday, December 19 concert in Chico’s St. John’s Episcopal Church, and a Sunday afternoon, December 20 concert in Redding’s Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. The Red Bluff concert is under the auspices of the Tehama Concert Association, while the Redding concert is sponsored by Red and Maria Emmerson.
