Auditions
General Auditions
North State Symphony will hold auditions in Chico on Aug 28 in the afternoon/early evening. Players of any orchestral instrument may audition for substitute positions if no regular position is available. CSU Chico students receieve priority in filling positions when qualified.
Any musician who is interested in auditioning should prepare five to ten minutes of music (solo or orchestral repertoire) which shows different aspects of technique and musicianship. No accompanist is needed.

Audition for Principal Horn
North State Symphony announces auditions for principal horn, and possibly other seats, on the afternoons of Aug 24 and Aug 28, 2008.
If the principal position is won by a member of the section, another candidate may be offered the resulting vacancy.
Location: to be announced. Aug 28 will be in Chico, Aug 24 elsewhere.
