NSS 20th Season Membership

For our 2020-21 Season, North State Symphony is introducing a new Membership model.  Instead of buying tickets, all are welcome to attend our monthly virtual concerts for free.  However, by becoming a Member, your entire household will also get exclusive access throughout the entire season to special online content, including:

  • Unlimited and free virtual concerts
  • Unlimited and free access to additional exclusive virtual content including interviews and behind-the scenes discussions with the Maestro and guests
  • First access to any live events, if any, TBA
  • Tax-deductible support of the symphony
  • Priority access to new subscription packages for the 21-22 concert season (following a renewal period for previous Season Ticket holders)

Whether you've been a Season Ticket Subscriber, attended individual concerts in past seasons, or are discovering North State Symphony for the very first time, your Membership takes the place of ticket sales (2020-21 Season only) and plays a key part in helping us sustain our mission of achieving excellence in musical performance and education, while engaging and shaping the cultural life of the communities we serve. Your Membership also helps us keep our wonderful North State musician artists employed during these extraordinarily challenging times for performing arts organizations.  Thank You!

Call 530-898-6333 and a helpful representative from the University Box Office will process your membership (available whether you normally purchase tickets in Redding, Chico, Red Bluff, or for any other locale).

Frequently asked questions

Q:    I've always purchased a Season Ticket package in the past.  Do I have to purchase a membership to save my seat assignments for next year?

A:    We value the loyal support of our Season Ticket holders and hope you'll consider supporting us this season with a Membership.  Either way, we'll save your seat assignments and look forward to seeing you in your regular seats again next season when we can hopefully resume live performances.

Q:    If I've purchased my Season Ticket package through the Cascade Theater in Redding, should I still buy my Membership through the University Box Office in Chico for this season?

A:    Yes.  For this season only, since there is no physical venue for concert attendance, we are simplifying the purchase process for Memberships.  The helpful staff at the University Box Office will help you with your transaction.

Q:    I'm a Member.  How and when will I get access to my Bonus Content?

A:    Members will be provided a private link via email to access their Bonus Content throughout the season.  The very best way to ensure you receive your Bonus Content is to provide us your email address during the Membership purchase process.  If you do not have an email address, please contact us.

Q:   Will I receive a tax-deductible receipt?

A:  Yes.  The tax-deductible receipt will come from "CSU, Chico" within 6-8 weeks.
